Nasarawa State Police Command Arrest Suspected criminal

Nasarawa State Police Command has apprehended a suspected criminal who has been on the wanted list of the police  for armed robbery and Kidnapping. 

This is contained in a statement by the state Police Public Relations Officer, ASP Ramhan Nansel in Lafia .

According  to the statement the suspect, Likita Abubakar aged 35 was arrested  following a tip off  indicating that he was  sighted at Alushi Junction in Akwanga Local Government Area of the state.

It also notes  that 53 empty magazines, 260 rounds of live ammunition and cash sum of #38,500 was recovered from the suspect.

The statement indicates that the State  Commissioner of Police Mr. Adesina Soyemi had ordered the transfer of the case to State Criminal Investigation Department, Lafia for thorough investigations.
